Employee Wellbeing is the Cornerstone of Your Company's Success

Discover how parenting support transforms not only families but also the very heartbeat of your organisation. In today's fast-paced world, where work/life balance is crucial, and employee wellbeing is the cornerstone of success, you are invited to explore a powerful tool that is reshaping the landscape of corporate culture—parenting support.

A More Dynamic Workforce and Increased Productivity

At parenting4health, we recognise the profound influence that family life has on every individual's wellbeing, and by extension, the overall health of a company. In reality, your company is a family of families. Harmonious family life reduces stress, increases productivity, and improves mental and emotional wellbeing.

What if I tell you that supporting your employees' journey as parents can be the key to unlocking a more thriving and dynamic workforce?

Reduced Absenteeism and 30% Lower Turnover of Employees

Parenting courses aren't a fad; they are a proven strategy for enhancing your organisation's bottom line. They contribute to reduced absenteeism, create a better work-life balance, and a 30% lower turnover rate, as documented by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and the Families and Work Institute. These numbers reflect a holistic approach to employee wellbeing, where personal growth and family harmony are intricately intertwined with professional success.

10% Increase in Employee Engagement Levels

The evidence is clear: parenting support has a transformative impact on workplace wellbeing. According to a study published in the Journal of Applied Psychology, employees who participated in parenting courses reported a significant reduction in stress levels. In addition, organisations offering such courses experienced a remarkable 10% increase in employee engagement levels, as revealed by a survey conducted by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

A Culture of Wellbeing and Resilience

Parenting4health invites you to join the movement towards a healthier, happier workplace. By investing in parenting support for your employees, you are not just addressing their individual needs but fostering an environment where they thrive personally and professionally. The benefits will ripple throughout your organisation, creating a culture of wellbeing and resilience: a happier workplace, with lower staff turnover.

Why Parenting for health?

Aided by a network of professional associates, supporting your employee wellbeing is an investment that promises expertise, dedication, and professional experience.

I have been working in education for over 20 years, whilst also delivering a range of parenting workshops, including The Nurturing Programme and Talking Teens (The Centre for Emotional Health).

With my background as a professional Home School Link Worker (HSLW) and Special Educational Needs (SEN) Learning Support Specialist, specialising in Speech and Language, I’ve honed my skills in navigating the complex world of child and family dynamics.

Working directly with outside agencies (including: Social Services /Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services / Educational Psychologist / Speech and Language Therapy), I’ve successfully tackled issues ranging from low self-esteem and attachment difficulties to cultural differences and behavioural challenges. My hands-on experience equips me with a deep understanding of the human element in the workplace.

My previous career in Marketing has also taught me the importance of measurable results. I know how to set targets, motivate teams, and manage budgets to achieve marketing objectives: skills that seamlessly translate to driving employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.

My dedication to professional development is evidenced by my qualifications including: BA Philosophy (Soc Sci) from University of Sussex, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) & Early Trauma, Raising the Issue of Weight, and a specialisation in running parenting workshops.

This diverse skillset enables me to address all aspects of health: emotional, physical, and mental. IT'S A JOURNEY

Parenting4health is committed to a holistic approach to parenting: recognising every child's right to the best start in life.

To raise children who grow into well-adjusted, healthy, happy, and fulfilled adults, it is essential that we, as parents, are aware of our own health and mental well-being. Just as we prepare for our child's arrival, it is also crucial to prepare for the long-haul of parenting.

While the journey may present obstacles and challenges, equipped with the right tools, we can navigate it with greater ease and enjoy more rewarding experiences. As we strive to do our best, the more informed we are, the easier the process will feel.

At parenting4health, we aim to share valuable insights gained from professional and personal experiences. These include fostering work/life balance, developing emotional literacy, understanding adolescence, coping with bereavement, and our own wellbeing.

With this knowledge, we can enhance our parenting journey and provide the best foundations for our children. Together, we can empower ourselves to create positive and nurturing family environments.

Supporting Families Through Challenging Times

Areas in which families often experience difficulties and examples of materials covered in seminars,

well-being days, 1:1, and telephone consultations:

Thrive and Grow: Mind, Body, and Soul

Ensuring your Family is the best it can be!

  • Sleep Hygiene
  • Nutrition
  • Sport
  • Meditation/Relaxation
  • Technology and Social Media
  • Growth Mindset vs. Fixed Mindset
  • Lifelong Learners

Children love to learn—it is natural. However, some may find education difficult, and others may find school even trickier.

Toddlers and Teens

Can we reduce the challenges associated with tricky ages and stages? Yes!

  • The more you learn about the brain, the more you will understand these ages and stages
  • Why do teenagers seem so impulsive and so much less self-aware than grown-ups
  • Supporting your children through challenging times will reduce family conflict and stress

It's Nothing New...

“I would there were no age between ten and three-and-twenty, or that youth would sleep out the rest; for there is nothing in the between but getting wenches with child, wronging the ancientry, stealing, fighting. Would any but these boiled-brains of nineteen and two-and-twenty hunt this weather?” (Shakespeare's comment about the teenage brain in A Winter's Tale).

Building Resilience

Independence and Confidence

As much as we want to protect our children from all of life's ills, it sadly isn't possible. However, if we can help them acquire the necessary skills to pick up the pieces and try again, their resilience will build, and they will hopefully find life’s challenges a little easier to navigate.

  • Strengthening and building positive relationships
  • Understanding, expressing, and managing their emotions
  • Independence in actions and thoughts
  • Building confidence by taking on challenges
Time

The Most Valuable Thing That We Can Spend
